Post Production-Screening
Screen
The surface on which the projected footage is displayed must reflect polarised light, therefore a common white screen is not appropriate. Instead a silver, metallic surface must be used.
After testing various fabrics and metal sheets the most successful surface has been to project onto the metallic, Crown paint Sophistication.
x2 Projectors
The projectors must be able to direct light through polarised filters. Some LCD projectors are unable to work as the light is pre-polarised within the projectors.
Keystoning is key to creating the best effect therefore keystone correction has been a consideration throughout the projection process.
